Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Full Stack Engineer with strong experience in React, TypeScript, Node.js, and AWS cloud services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable frontend and backend applications using modern JavaScript technologies and AWS serverless architecture.
The candidate should have hands-on experience building React applications, developing backend services using AWS Lambda, integrating APIs through AWS AppSync, and working with cloud-native data services such as DynamoDB and OpenSearch. Experience with infrastructure as code, containerization, automated testing, and local cloud development environments is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using React functional components and TypeScript.
  • Build and maintain backend services and serverless applications using Node.js, TypeScript, and AWS Lambda.
  • Develop and integrate GraphQL APIs using AWS AppSync.
  • Design and implement data storage and retrieval solutions using Amazon DynamoDB.
  • Work with AWS OpenSearch for search functionality and data indexing.
  • Implement content delivery solutions using AWS CloudFront.
  • Develop and maintain reusable frontend components and UI libraries using Storybook.
  • Use Vite for frontend development and Vitest for unit and component testing.
  • Set up and maintain local development environments using Docker and LocalStack.
  • Manage infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform.
  • Write and maintain Bash scripts to automate development and operational tasks.
  • Use GitLab for source control, collaboration, and CI/CD workflows.
  • Work within an Ubuntu-based development environment using VS Code, CLI tools, and Mise.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, maintainable, and secure software.
  • Troubleshoot application issues, improve performance, and follow coding standards and engineering best practices.

Required Technical Skills

  • Strong proficiency in React, particularly functional components and modern React development practices.
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript for both frontend applications and backend services.
  • Hands-on experience with Node.js and package management using pnpm.
  • Practical experience developing serverless applications using AWS Lambda.
  • Experience with AWS AppSync and GraphQL API development.
  • Hands-on experience with Amazon DynamoDB.
  • Experience with AWS OpenSearch.
  • Understanding of AWS CloudFront and content delivery concepts.
  • Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
  • Familiarity with Docker, local development tooling, and cloud resource emulation using LocalStack.
  • Experience with unit testing using Vitest and/or Jest.
  • Proficiency with Git, GitLab, Bash scripting, and command-line tools.
  • Familiarity with Linux-based development environments, particularly Ubuntu.

  • Familiarity with component-driven development and reusable UI design systems.
  • Experience working in agile development teams.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Expected Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a hands-on Full Stack Engineer who can independently contribute to both frontend and backend development, build cloud-native applications using AWS serverless services, and work effectively within a modern Linux-based development environment.
Primary Technical Focus: React, TypeScript, Node.js, AWS AppSync, AWS Lambda, and DynamoDB.
Additional Technical Focus: OpenSearch, Terraform, Docker, LocalStack, Vite, Vitest, GitLab, and Bash scripting.
